Adie San Diego (she/her) is a first-generation Filipina-American dancer, choreographer, educator and visual artist, residing in Los Angeles.

She began formal dance training at a Carolina Dance Center, Inc. studying classical ballet and jazz styles, and was exposed to many well-known choreographers at a young age.

Adie attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA, and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance with Cum Laude Honors. While in Pittsburgh, Adie was immersed in the rich arts culture and dance community. Adie was chosen to create a solo for the inaugural pearlPresents Dance Festival in the 3600 Seconds of Solos at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater in 2019.

Her interest in choreography bloomed early on, and she was given opportunities to explore her choreographic voice. Her piece entitled “Strummed” was chosen through adjudication to be performed at RDA (SERBA) Dance Festival.

Adie has performed works by world-renowned choreographers such as Kyle Abraham, Yin Yue, Nacho Duato, Camille A. Brown, Stephanie Batten-Bland, and many more. Additionally, she has trained with Victor Quijada, David Norsworthy, Kristen Carcone, Peter Chu, and Anouk van Dijk.

Adie has worked with Helen Simoneau, Kaylin Horgan, Beth Gill, the Blanket PGH, Valeria Y. Gonzalez and VALLETO Dance, and Joanna Kotze at the American Dance Festival.

Adie equally enjoys and connects her pleasures of dance to her visual art and media crafts of photography and filmmaking.

She currently teaches, choreographs, and produces while residing in Los Angeles.
